What is Saundhaus?<\/h2>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
\n

\n\t\t\t\tSaundhaus is the independent creative home of musician and writer
\n\t\t\t\tEric Kauschen. Founded by Eric in San Francisco in 1998, it grew
\n\t\t\t\tfrom his earlier work with Metal Palace and his background in
\n\t\t\t\tcomposition, electronic music, recording, and audio production.\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\t\tIt was conceived as a place where musical categories could overlap
\n\t\t\t\trather than compete: rock and metal alongside orchestral composition;
\n\t\t\t\trockabilly and blues beside electronic experimentation; recorded
\n\t\t\t\treleases alongside writing about sound, ritual, philosophy,
\n\t\t\t\ttechnology, and human perception.\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\t\tThe name deliberately echoes the Bauhaus\u2014the idea that art, craft,
\n\t\t\t\tand technology become stronger when treated as parts of the same
\n\t\t\t\tdiscipline. That remains the principle behind the Saundhaus motto:
\n\t\t\t\tThe Art and Science of Music.<\/em>\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\t\tNow based in Northampton, Massachusetts, Saundhaus serves as a record
\n\t\t\t\tlabel, creative studio, archive, and publishing home for an evolving
\n\t\t\t\tbody of work that refuses to remain inside a single genre.\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n
